The Diary of Anne Frank- Reflection

When you look back over all the chapters that we’ve read, you can sort of tell that the Franks, the Van Daans, and Mr. Dussel have become a family, just like mine or yours. Sure, they aren’t perfect, they fight, scream, and bicker at each other, just like a normal family. At the end of they day, though, they realize that they can count on each other, even though it always doesn’t seem like it.  This is why I think that the Franks, the Vann Daans, and Mr. Dussel have become a ” family”.

Volleyball

My favorite sport to play is volleyball. Many people think that this sport is very easy to play, when the truth is your arms can get easily bruised, and quickly. Last semester, I tried out for the 7th grade team, and made it. During the season, I fell more in love with this sport. I don’t know if it was the thrill of being on the court, or if I enjoyed our play days ( days where you play multiple matches), but this sport was becoming my main, and favorite activity. I also noticed that our team was getting better. We were working together more, and almost always making our shots. During our last match, we replayed the first team that we had ever played. It was a tough game, and they only won by a couple of shots.

This summer, some of my other team mates and I are going to a week volleyball camp at Emory . I’m so excited because this way I’ll be able to pick up some new tricks, and hopefully make it on the 8th grade volleyball team

Whether I’m playing volleyball on the court, or on the beach, I’m sure to have a good time!

In a room full of people…

In a room full of people, I might seem like everyone else, but there are a few traits that make me unusual and quirky. One trait that makes me unusual is that I like unsually clean. When I was younger, my older sister and twin would throw my stuffed animals and pillows on the ground, and I would run and go pick them up, and put them back on the bed. Little did I know, they would just throw them off again, and start laughing at me. This happened so many times that I would get frustrated, plop down on the ground, and  start crying hysterically. I think that this shows that I’m the kind of person that likes everything to be perfect; like my friends, my family, and my life. I HATE conflict!

Another one of my traits is that I’m extremely loud. My friends always have to talk to me about not yelling (talking) in movies and in restaurants. “It’s not my fault,” I always say more quietly, “I got it from my dad.” I think the reason I always yell/ talk is that I want my voice to be heard first. I’m still trying to figure out if this is a good or not.

My last trait that I think that makes me a complete individual is my great sense of humor. I always try to make my friends laugh if they are upset, or if they are just being too quite for me. I believe I do this because I always need laughter to make me feel at peace, plus, who doesn’t like to hear a good knock- knock joke now and again?
